Steph is a marine ecologist with a wide-ranging interest in biogeography, fisheries, and climate change. Her expertise lies in utilising quantitative analyses and diverse data sets to tackle critical questions in marine conservation. Passionate about applied research, Steph is committed to understanding the impact of anthropogenic stressors on the environment and the communities that rely on them. Her work aims to contribute to sustainable solutions for preserving marine biodiversity and supporting resilient coastal communities.

I was nearly purse-seined while snorkelling with a school of jacks in Baja California, Mexico.
