Dr Rachel Kelly

Marine Socioecologist

Dr Rachel Kelly is a knowledge broker and marine socioecologist. Her work focuses on human dimensions of ocean sustainability, and she is passionate about achieving meaningful end-user engagement and improving ocean literacy and societal connections to the ocean. This effort centres around collaboration with diverse groups and has involved research collaborations with CMS, as well as with the World Maritime University in Sweden, Future Oceans and Coastal Infrastructures (FOCI) Consortium Canada, iDiv Germany, NESP Climate Systems Hub, the UN Ocean Decade, and other international interdisciplinary groups.
