I am Co-Director of Edith Cowan University’s transdisciplinary research Centre for People, Place and Planet and Professor of Marine Science. My research on coastal marine ecosystems, with a particular focus on seagrass, explores how human activities and climate change influence the condition, function and resilience of these systems. I am particularly motivated to work collaboratively across sectors, incorporating different knowledges to develop actions for ocean sustainability.
