I’m a marine ecologist and environmental scientist focused on sustainable ocean-based food systems, marine ecosystem modelling, and applying artificial intelligence to support environmental decision-making. I’m currently a CERC Postdoctoral Research Fellow at CSIRO in Hobart, Australia.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology from Duke University and a Master of Environmental Management and PhD from the University of Queensland. My doctoral research explored the global potential of large-scale seaweed farming to reduce land-use pressures, enhance food security, and mitigate greenhouse gas emissions.

My work is interdisciplinary, spanning marine ecology, artificial intelligence, and systems modelling.
