Julia is a Climate Change and fisheries Research Fellow at the Institute for Marine and Antarctic Studies at UTAS, and a member of the Centre for Marine Socioecology. Julia is the Project Manager and Research Fellow for Sea Change Australia. Her research focuses on improving our understanding of marine ecosystems and how these are affected by human activities and global change. Working across a variety of universities, government, research agencies and NGOs in Australia and Spain, she has established a strong international collaboration network and gained experience in leading, coordinating and working as part of diverse research teams in a broad range of environments.
