Hannah holds a PhD in marine biology, with her research areas focusing on climate change adaptation and preparedness in commercial fisheries and aquaculture management, including the socio-ecological effects of climate change and adaptation.

Hannah also has industry experience, having worked in the aquaculture space. Here, Hannah’s responsibilities involved strategic planning and modelling of future fish stocks, harvest rates, annual budgets, and environmental compliance KPIs, as well as analysing fish performance measures such as growth and mortality rates, and providing strategic advice to Executive Management.

Hannah currently works as Executive Support at the Centre for Marine Socioecology (CMS), and also as a Research Fellow in Climate Risk Assessments for Aquaculture at the Institute for Marine and Antarctic Studies (IMAS) at the University of Tasmania (UTAS).
