Dan is a Senior Research Scientist at the WA Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development, leading the Nearshore, Estuarine and Freshwater Research Section. He has a background in marine and estuarine ecology and has worked on a broad range of fish and invertebrate species and fisheries throughout WA. His current research focuses on small-scale commercial and recreational fisheries throughout southwestern Australia.
