Dr. Alexis Wing Huen Chung is a nutritionist and food scientist with a PhD in Environmental and Agricultural Sciences, bringing ocean-to-plate expertise. She specialises in seafood value-adding and the valorisation of underutilised marine resources, focusing on reducing food waste and advancing functional food applications. Alexis has led multiple commercially oriented projects spanning abalone by-products, seaweed therapeutics, and sustainable packaging, working at the nexus of science, innovation, and industry to deliver solutions that are safe, profitable, and sustainable. She is also the founder of Organic Ocean and GreenBites, two start-ups dedicated to translating scientific research into market-ready solutions for nutrition, wellness, and sustainability.
