Observations of change

Fishers and seafood producers spend time on the water and are often the first to notice changes in the environment. Sea Change Australia values this local, experience-based knowledge and encourages people across the sector to share their observations.

These reports will be compiled into a shared database and highlighted here. Documenting change over time not only helps build a clearer picture of what’s happening but can also serve as an early warning system—supporting timely responses and strengthening the sector’s ability to adapt.
