Alex is a marine biologist specialising in animal migrations and feeding behaviours. His work has taken him on research expeditions across the Indian Ocean and Pacific Ocean, where he investigates the environmental drivers behind large-scale animal movements and foraging patterns. Alex is currently completing a PhD in environmental science at Auckland University of Technology & Cawthron Institute, studying the migration of eels using stable isotope analysis and environmental DNA.
